Coffee house and roaster in Columbia, SC.
Looks like all college students. Big crowd but lots of seating. Small groups. Laptops, great hangout and meet place, it seems.
Chocolate up front in the flavor. Moderately acidic. Some kind of nut, maybe even a little vanilla. Good coffee but not as punchy as this morning's earlier roast from Rock Hill (Knowledge Perk, reviewed separately). What does the label say?
Lunchtime and limited selection of savory offerings, so I went with the egg bacon cheese toast and it was awesome. On the road really throws my eating habits for a loop. I normally would not eat like this.
Repurposed warehouse chic again. Looks like the former site of an electrical supply company. This one is less polished and refined, making it feel more down to earth and homey. I like it.
And the roastery.
